A Personalized Approach
to Individual Therapy NYC

Therapy with me is a conversation with layers

On the surface, we talk about what's happening in your life right now — a relationship that's fraying, a decision you can't make, a feeling you can't shake. Underneath that, I'm listening to the patterns running through your story: the ways you learned to manage closeness and distance, where you learned to silence your needs, the roles you step into again and again without quite meaning to.

What makes this work effective isn't just what happens in the room — it's the rhythm we build together. We meet weekly, because consistency is what allows trust to form, patterns to surface, and real change to take hold. Life inevitably interrupts, and there's always room for that. But this is a practice built on commitment — and that commitment is part of what makes it work.

Noticing not only what you're thinking, but what's happening physically — subtle tension, shifts in breath, a feeling that arises before there are words for it. Emotional patterns are not just cognitive. They are held in the body, often outside of awareness.

Somatic

Many clients arrive with a low, persistent sense of unease - overthinking conversations, second-guessing decisions, or feeling a quiet pressure they can't fully explain. Together, we look at what the anxiety may be pointing to underneath.

Anxiety

Whether you're dating, in a partnership, or reflecting on past relationships, the work explores the dynamics that continue to show up - how you attach, what you expect, what feels difficult to trust or express.

Relationships

Many of the ways we relate are shaped early, often outside of awareness. With more awareness, those patterns become less fixed and more open to change.

Attachment

The transition into motherhood can be disorienting, even when it's deeply wanted. This work creates space for all of it - the visible and the unspoken - so that you don't have to navigate it alone.

with a conversation.

You don't need the right words or a clear plan. Just a willingness to show up and see what's there.

Frequently Asked

  • A depth-oriented approach that explores how past experience and unconscious patterns shape the way you think, feel, and relate — so that change goes beneath the surface.

  • I provide in-person sessions at my office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which is located near McCarren Park and the L and the G trains.

I also offer teletherapy for residents across New York State. Sessions are conducted via a secure video platform and offer the same quality of care and attention as in-person work.

  • My approach is psychodynamic and relational.

Psychodynamic therapy explores how past experience and unconscious patterns shape present behavior.

Relational therapy recognizes that healing happens through relationships — what unfolds between us in the room is part of the work.

I also integrate somatic awareness, attending to what the body is holding alongside what's being said.

  • Adults who are high-functioning, curious and self-aware but carrying something that hasn't shifted despite their best efforts.

They're often navigating anxiety, complex relationship dynamics, life transitions, or a quiet sense that something isn't working — and are ready to look more closely at why.

  • My fee per session is $225 and sessions are 50 minutes.

As an out-of-network provider, I do not bill insurance directly. I can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement — I'd recommend checking your benefits before we begin.

  • I ask for 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice are charged the full session fee.
